Who is responsible

Information you provide through the enquiry form

When you send an enquiry, the form collects:

• your name and the name of your business;
• your email address and, if you choose to give it, a phone number;
• the service area you select and the text of your enquiry; and
• your confirmation that you have read this notice.

Please do not include PAN, Aadhaar, bank account details, tax returns or other personal or financial documents in the form. If an engagement is discussed, the firm will agree a secure way to share information.

How enquiry information is used

The information is used only to read and respond to your enquiry, and to discuss whether and how the firm can help. Sending an enquiry does not add you to any mailing list, and the firm does not use enquiry details for marketing. The information is not sold.

How it reaches the firm

When you submit the form, the website’s server checks the information and passes it to the firm through a message delivery service that acts on the firm’s behalf. The website itself does not store enquiries in a database. You will see a confirmation only once the delivery service has confirmed that the enquiry was received.

Technical information

Like any website, the server receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. The website’s own software uses IP addresses briefly to limit repeated form submissions. They are held only in a scrambled (hashed) form and are discarded after about ten minutes. The company that hosts the website may keep server logs in accordance with its own practices.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, social media or other tracking tools. Fonts and scripts are served from the website itself rather than from third parties. If you choose to open the office location in a maps service, that service’s own privacy terms apply.

How long information is kept

Enquiry information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry. If an engagement follows, related records are kept as required for professional and legal purposes.

Your choices

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct or erase the personal information you have provided, or withdraw your consent to its use. To make a request, write to nishant@nksharma.co.

Changes to this notice

If the way this website handles information changes, this notice will be updated and the date at the top of the page revised.
